Brother Hernan visited Austin from Fort Worth, TX to remind the church that they are responsible for the ministers that have been sent by the Apostle of the Lord.
Remember to not underestimate the exhortation and discipline of the Lord, because the Lord disciplines those who He loves. (Hebrews 12:5-8) As members of the church, we understand that the Apostle of the Lord cannot be at every single church, speaking physically. In the past, he has said that ministers are his eyes, ears and mouth. They are his eyes so he can see. They are his ears so that he may listen. They are his mouth so he his words can be expressed to each and every member. When we speak of being responsible for the ministers, we understand that it does not exclusively apply in the material sense, but the moral, and more importantly, the spiritual. The church’s job is to make sure the minister travels on the road already established by the doctrine.
In a letter sent December 1992, the Apostle Samuel Joaquin, quoted a letter sent by the Apostle Aaron on September 1955. The Apostle Samuel pointed out that the letter Brother Aaron sent to all the churches is the same discipline and teachings that the church is being taught to this very day.
Brother Aaron wrote, “We need to take into consideration that the enemy is doing everything he can to make the ministers stumble. Love of money, arrogance, and sinning with women. All these are fruits immodesty. I have thought it prudent to recommend to my brothers and sisters to sincerely help the brother and not take the place of the ungodly; to help with righteousness.” It’s important to not raise speculation, but to be prudent. More than 50 years have passed since Brother Aaron sent that letter and we see now that those teaching have not changed. It is a desire of the Apostle that we continue to live our lives with integrity. The church needs to remember to live in obedience in the rules and teachings that have been established. The church also has the function of being the Apostle’s eyes, ears and mouth to assist that the minister so that he may serve his purpose and serve loyally. Brother Hernan reminded us that even though a situation isn't bad, we shouldn’t put ourselves in situations that can be interpreted as incorrect or indecent. On some occasions, someone may witness something and chooses not to bring it up to proper person. There are many reasons why they choose to do this. Sometimes the member has established a friendship with the minister or they are afraid of backlash from others. It’s better to live with the backlash, and find solace knowing that we will be truly judged by God. (2 Chronicles 26:16-2) Sometimes it is necessary to be brave in order for justice to prevail.
He waited seven days, the time set by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and Saul’s men began to scatter. So he said, “Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered up the burnt offering. Just as he finished making the offering, Samuel arrived, and Saul went out to greet him. “What have you done?” asked Samuel. Saul replied, “When I saw that the men were scattering, and that you did not come at the set time, and that the Philistines were assembling at Mikmash, I thought, ‘Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the LORD’s favor.’ So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering.” “You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not kept the command the LORD your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the LORD’s command.”
1 Samuel 13:8-14
The worst neglect the minister and his family can commit is not attending the daily services. We all have souls that have a dire need of God, and that includes those who commit their life to serve in the labor. This path is one of faith and persistence, until the end.
"Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith." Hebrews 13:7
Keep these things in mind as we continue in this spiritual year/ in mind as we start the new spiritual year. The success of the church as a whole is according to their conduct.

Hello! I simply want to give a large thumbs up for that good information you will have the following on this post. I’ll likely be coming back to your blog for extra quickly.
I wish I knew Hebrew. Looking at the definition for the words evil and spirit one could pull out bad and anger as in Saul was in a deep depression or a manic state. The more important information to this verse I think comes from I Samuel 16:14-15. Why did God’s Spirit leave him? We can see the results of Saul’s disobedience in I Samuel 15:18-35. Rebellion from God by Saul resulted in God leaving him. So I would wonder if the word sent is more akin to allowed ?
